CP’s Ward wins singing competition

COLERIDGE AND PARRY’S Asha Ward took first place at the annual Inter-School Singing Competition this year.
She beat 17 other contestants with her rendition of At Last.
Second place went to Rashida Codrington of Ellerslie Secondary who sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow, while Parkinson Memorial’s Ashawyna Bellamy copped third place. She rendered And I am Telling You.
Ten schools were represented in the contest. (LW)
