ILLEGAL DRUGS WORTH hundreds of thousands of dollars were destroyed by police yesterday.
In a media release, the force said it burnt 4 612.2 pounds of compressed cannabis, 14.72 kilos of cocaine, and 4 645 cannabis plants.
The drugs were from cases that were adjudicated, drugs found, seizures of plants found under cultivation, and indictable matters that were sampled with regards to the Evidence Act.
