FOUR DOCTORS are facing disciplinary charges before the Barbados Medical Council.
Two of the doctors are before the council for allegedly breaching the law on doctors advertising, while the other two are on alleged professional misconduct charges related to their certification.
Council chairman Professor Sir Errol Walrond yesterday confirmed that presently four doctors are at various stages of the council’s disciplinary process.
He however declined to reveal the specific charges facing each doctor, explaining that from time to time doctors are reported to the council on various matters and their role, as mandated by law, is to investigate any alleged infringements.
