FIRE TENDERS are on the scene at Mangrove landfill in St Thomas where thousands of tyres are ablaze.
Residents from St Peter to St Michael have reported seeing a huge plume of black smoke emanating from the dump site.
The fire has been raging for more than two hours. (SP)
