A journey of a single step starts with a Voice. And that voice brought Tessanne Chin to Barbados for the Digicel Reggae On The Hill.
Yesterday, the last day of the four-day festival, the Jamaican singer, who won the United States talent show The Voice earlier this year, thrilled the crowd with the powerful voice that earned her millions of votes to take home the coveted trophy.
Doing songs from the show, such as Try and Bridge Over Troubled Water, the songstress had the crowd rocking and swaying to her music.
Speaking to the DAILY NATION afterwards, Tessanne said she was “nervous” as “home crowds are always toughest to please”, but was “amazed and blessed” at the response of the Farley Hill crowd.
