Residents in Queen’s Street, St Peter who have been complaining about a burst pipe in the area should get relief “right away”.
Barbados Water Authority’s communications specialist Joyann Haigh told The NATION they would investigate and rectify the problem.
Residents say the pipe, located near the Adventist Church, has been running since December last year.
Water was spouting into the air, but someone placed a brick over it. As a result, the majority of water is seeping into the ground and flowing into a nearby canal, on its way to the sea. (RL)
