Bountiful lionfish day

Call it the catch of the day.
And at 1 033 grammes or just over two pounds, it easily took the title of the biggest lionfish pulled from the waters around Barbados during yesterday’s first lionfish derby and cook-off.
It was caught during the Coastal Zone Management Unit’s event which brought together divers, fishermen and top chefs from restaurants.
