The Nation Publishing Co. Limited is set to create history when the company streams the show to international audiences live via the internet on pay-per-view. Crop Over Central will be hosted by well-known media personality Andi Thornhill.
Thornhill, who has had ties with the NATION for more than three decades, is also a former employee. He has penned winning calypsos over the years, among other achievements in the genre.
He will be joined by an all-star commentary line-up that includes nine-time Calypso Monarch Anthony Gabby Carter, and Trevor Marshall, former Pic-O-De-Crop chief judge and historian.
Caribbean Soca Queen Alison Hinds will join the cast via a link-up through Skype.
