THERE WAS FOOD on one side and plastic toys on the other with scores of locals walking in between.
This was the scene at Bridgetown Market yesterday as the four-lane carriage way that is Spring Garden Highway was transformed into a pedestrian-only street fair.
Meanwhile, the pasture next to Courts’ bond house is now a craft market as visitors and locals browsed among the many stalls.
Patrons seemed more intent on soaking up the atmosphere and mingling than purchasing the assorted craft on offer.
This year, there are 96 stalls in the craft market and 230 along Spring Garden. (HLE)
