MEMBERS OF the Barbados Sea Turtle Project have another turtle killing on their hands.
And, like the one discovered last Sunday at Schooner’s Bay, St Peter, about a hundred metres north of today’s discovery near King’s Beach hotel, this Hawksbill’s head has been hacked open, but the culprit made no attempt to remove her eggs or take meat.
This brings to three turtles killed with no evidence of poaching in the past two weeks.
Police are investigating. (HLE)
