STUDENTS AT Grantley Adams Memorial School will be returning to some spruced up surroundings when school restarts on September 8.

Braving persistent showers from about 6 a.m. this morning, members of the Old Scholars Association were busy debushing around the premises, power-washing the walls and painting two of the blocks. Work will continue over time until all of the buildings have been given a face-lift.

Principal Dennis Browne welcomed the assistance from the group, which saved the school thousands of dollars in material and labour. (YB)
