More plants seized

POLICE HAVE SEIZED 4 072 cannabis plants which were found under cultivation in St John today.

According to public relations officer Inspector David Welch, drug eradication operations by members of the Marine Unit and the Special Services Unit resulted in the discovery of 3 458 plants at Pot House and 614 plants at Edgecliff.

The plants ranged from seedlings, found at Edgecliff, to trees 12 feet high in Pot House.

Last Friday 1 436 plants were found at Congo Bay, St Philip. (PR/NB)
