Barbadian alternative-rock artiste Simon Pipe and Barbadian Fling group AzMan will release a fresh and upbeat single entitled Looka Trouble on Monday.

The track is produced by Pipe.

Both AzMAn and Pipe are excited about their first collaborative effort; they share some interesting perspectives on various aspects and processes leading up to the conception of the record.

Gibbzydan noted: “Within recent years many artistes have shown that sounding Bajan can be galvanising, now, AzMAn has taken it a step further and gave the Bajan dialect that essential internationally viable component.”

Fellow vocalist Levitance said, “The track is definitely out of our usual comfort zone. We have pushed the boundaries of Fling once again and created a song with appeal to different sections of society.”

Dee added, “The collaboration, message, energy and the delivery could only be summed up as Bajan evolved. Pipe’s energy meshed well with ours. This track makes a statement.”

“Looka Trouble will not only captivate listeners, but most importantly, inspire critical thought with its content,” Pipe said. “There’s so much more going on in the world, and we’re not talking about it. Though we are from different places, we have the same experiences. Therefore, I knew that when we brought our minds together that a song of this nature would be the result.” (NS/PR)
