THE ST MICHAEL Cathedral was transformed into a canvas of varying tones and textures as the cathedral’s 225th anniversary got underway this morning celebrating with a Weekend Experience of Flower Show and Bazaar.

The flower show began this morning and runs until September 29.

Tomorrow the new Church Village Green will be the place to be as the bazaar starts at 10 a.m. and goes through to 5:30 p.m.

This weekend experience is presented under the theme “Now thank we all our God”, and will be under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank, Dr Delisle Worrell, GCM, and Mrs Worrell.

This morning the flower show was graced with the presence of Governor-General Sir Elliott Belgrave and Lady Belgrave, Chief Justice Sir Marston Gibson and Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy. (JS)
