Are you where you’ve always wanted to be?
I would say yes as I am contented with what life has offered me and what I have grasped thus far. I am still a work in progress, professionally and otherwise.
What is your biggest professional challenge?
Having to deal and work with persons who are passionless, they just operate like they have no energy and give you only the basics
What is your biggest life challenge?
Having to deal with individuals who do not play fair and those that think they are above others.
When you look to the future what do you see?
The Barbadian economy rising above this recessionary period and more employment opportunities for all Barbadians.
What is your favourite pastime?
Decorating and event management/planning
What is your favourite meal?
Green peas and rice with baked pork and of course any type of dessert must be included.
On Saturday nights where are you likely to be?
Attending a social event or home relaxing with family.
What upsets you the most?
Poor customer service. Employees need to pay more attention to the service which they provide as it not only reflects on the organisation but on them as individuals.
What is your guiding philosophy?
Try to do your best the first time as you seldom get another opportunity or second chance.
If you had the chance to manage Barbados for a day, what would you do?
A day would never be enough for me, but as I have only one day I would declare the day “Kindness Day: Each One, Reach One” and request each person perform a kind deed for someone that day, especially someone who is less fortunate than themselves.
