TWENTY-EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Sherry Ann Maughan captured the Life 97.5 Flow Gospel Challenge last night at the Frank Collymore Hall.

The popular winner gave a stirring rendition of Mary Mary’s Yesterday which saw her picking up the first prize of $5 000 with Lashana Lewis placing second, Kiann Browne third and Troy Arthur ending fourth from ten contestants.

Maughan was supported by dozens of blood family and religious relatives from Sanctuary Empowerment Centre where she has been developing her vocal talents from the tender age of eight. (KB)
