Colombo, Sri Lanka – The West Indies “A” team tour of Sri Lanka ended on a disappointing note with the third and final ‘One Day International’ being washed out in Colombo.

The match was abandoned and not a ball was bowled at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground.

This followed a no result in the second ‘One Day International’ when the match was reduced to a 38-over game.

Sri Lanka “A” took the series 1-0, having won the first match by six runs on Duckworth/Lewis. Even that game was affected by rain and was reduced to a 20 overs per side. (PR)
