THE FAMILY of one of the men injured in a dramatic fatal shooting on Saturday night has put out a desperate appeal for blood while two other victims remain in critical condition.

Family members, who requested anonymity, told the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday that 19-year-old Shaquan Hinds and Jabarri Clarke, who is in his 20s, were both doing better but, with the former receiving a gunshot wound to the chest and the latter one to the hip, they were not out of the woods yet.

The shooting took place in Danesbury, Black Rock, St Michael, at the Bird City Bar, claiming the life of Ricky Francois, 29, whose mother Sandra Francois said he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Theodore Cumberbatch, 57, who had a bullet graze his liver and lung before lodging in his chest, suffered severe blood loss and his family is asking donors to come forward.
