THE MISS WORLD 2014 show is only hours away.
Barbados is being represented by 22-year-old Zoe Trotman, who describes herself as a “fiery, daring young woman with a love for fine cuisine, diverse culture and the arts, I have a tiny exterior with a big heart”.
As for her country, “Barbados is a unique little paradise, filled with a potpourri of exciting activity, a diverse culture and warm people”.
This year’s show is in London, England.
Question Time with Zoé:
What website could you not live without and why?
I could not live without Google. The idea of having endless answers at your fingertips is brilliant, and makes life a bit easier. I’ve learnt that the answer can sometimes be just a click away.
What is the best app you’ve used in the last year?
Instagram. Pictures can tell a thousand stories and I like the idea of being able to tell my life story in pictures. It’s kind of like a story book with only visuals.
What is your favourite fashion website?
My favourite fashion website is “who what wear”. Coming from a small island I am not as exposed to fashion and current trends as I would like to be. This blog keeps me in the loop.
What item of makeup could you not life without?
Lipstick. I absolutely cannot live without lipstick. A good lipstick can transform into cheek stain/blush, cream eye shadow, lip liner and of course still remain a lipstick.
What is your most famous/memorable encounter?
My most famous encounter was meeting Miss World 2013, Megan Young. I was so star struck. I was shaking! The minute she said “Hi” and smiled at me I felt warm again. Her humility is most beautiful.
Favourite Food?
My favourite food is macaroni pie, and I also love sweet potatoes!
