TWO MEN both pleaded not guilty to several joint drug charges when they appeared in District C Magistrates Court today.

Barbadian Adrian Obrian Hinds, 54, of Durants, Christ Church and 31-year-old Guyanese Gregory Manson-Hing pleaded not guilty to charges of possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of 53.2 pounds of cannabis and 31.7 kilos of cocaine.

They were both remanded to HMP Dodds until January 12, 2015.

Manson-Hing, who lives at Craigg Road, St Lawrence, Christ Church, is also scheduled to appear in the District A Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The offences were allegedly committed last Monday night at Skeete’s Bay, St Philip. Police intercepted a car there, but the occupants escaped.

The marijuana was found in three polythene bags and 29 packages of cocaine were discovered in another bag.

Manson-Hing and Hinds were subsequently arrested.

Manson-Hing also received other charges after police discovered small quantities of marijuana and cocaine and drug apparatus during a search executed at his home last Wednesday. (PR/SAT)
