It’s not Chris, but all of us.

The entire Cabinet was in on the decision to have a ministerial statement from Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler, rather than a Budget, particularly at this time, said Minister of Industry and Commerce Donville Inniss.

Speaking to the DAILY NATION yesterday ahead of a social gathering for branch members of his Democratic Labour Party St James South constituency, Inniss asked Barbadians to bear with the decision for a few weeks into the new year.

“The decision to have a ministerial statement is not the exclusive decision of the Minister of Finance. It would have had to be the decision of the entire Cabinet . . . and as a member of the Cabinet I stand by that decision,” he added.
