Darian King has some really big plans for 2015. Grand plans actually.

Barbados’ top ranked tennis pro could be serving it up with the world’s best next year, having revealed his aim of making the qualifiers and then hopefully the main draw of two Grand Slams – Roland Garros and the US Open.

King spoke of his New Year’s resolutions in a wide-ranging interview with WEEKEND SPORT after recently returning home for the holidays to start a new offseason training programme.

“I have to start the year off running and get in a lot of early victories, but once I can get up to around 250 or so I should be able to ease into the qualifiers and you never know what can happen from here,” said the world No. 312.
