Defending champions Caribbean Alliance/Akobah Gardens Foundation hold the advantage over St Leonard’s Boys’ going into today’s third and last day of the Goddard Enterprises Schools’ final.

At stumps, St Leonard’s were 91 for four, replying to Foundation’s 216, which included a responsible unbeaten 56 from Dominic Drakes.  His knock was spiced with five fours, a six and came from 102 balls in his 142 minutes stay at the crease.

After an opening stand of 35 between Sadrian Ward and Deswin Currency, St Leonard’s lost Currency and Tremaine Harris within one run. Currency was caught behind off Joshua Drakes and Harris lofted a catch to mid-off.

Ward, who played a number of exquisite shots through the off-side, added an enterprising 47, with Khalil Herbert for the third wicket. Both players represented Isolation Cavaliers in the recent Intermediate semi-final against champions-in-the-making Combermere.
