CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand (AP) – Brendon McCullum smashed 195, including the fastest test century by a New Zealander.

He also became the first Kiwi to score 1 000 Test runs in a calendar year as he lifted his team to 429 for seven at stumps today on the first day of the first Test against Sri Lanka.
