THE GOVERNMENT may be looking to get the best commercial deal from its newest housing development.

This emerged as Housing Minister Denis Kellman revealed that he and officials at the National Housing Corporation will be reviewing what will be done with the recently completed high-rise development at The Grotto, Beckles Road, St Michael.

Kellman was giving the WEEKEND NATION an update of the housing projects which have been undertaken by the NHC in recent times.

“we will soon make a final decision on what we will do with that in light of the economic situation,” he said of the Grotto.

“Sometimes you have Plan One, but as the economic situation changes you should be dynamic enough to make the changes to suit,” the housing minister said.
