THE BARBADOS Community College (BCC) is not in a state of readiness to accept the 90 Nigerian students in the next ten days.

The SUNDAY SUN was reliably informed that application forms were being prepared only on Friday and that there were no available classrooms, furniture or even additional tutors in place to accommodate the large group, who arrived in Barbados two weeks ago to undertake hospitality and agriculture studies for nine months.

This state of affairs was also communicated by the chairman of the BCC board, Stephen Broomes, in a letter last Tuesday to board members as well as principal Dr Gladstone Best and other concerned parties.
