THE UNIVERSITY of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre has reported that an earthquake occurred east of Trinidad yesterday.
The event took place around 1:17 a.m. at 10.54°N and 62.10°W. The magnitude was 4.4 and the depth was ten kilometres, according to preliminary results.
There were no reports that it was felt by residents. (PR/NB)
