A representative of the Nigerian government is expected in Barbados today to assist in the plight of 90 Nigerian students.

Chairman of the Caribbean Pan-African Network David Comissiong said yesterday he had been in contact with the network’s general secretary in Trinidad and Tobago, who had contacted the Nigerian High Commission there.

A message was sent to the Nigerian authorities that they needed to send a representative either of the federal government or Delta State as soon as possible to Barbados to sort out the problems that have emerged in the case of the African students.
