TWO SCHOOL CHILDREN from yesterday’s fatal crash into the sea are still missing in St Vincent.
A representative from the Coast Guard confirmed to SEARCHLIGHT that teams of divers had been searching the coastal area for the past 15 hours, but were unsuccessful.
Early this morning, St Vincent’s Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves travelled to the Owia/Fancy area and spent the day visiting with the affected families, offering his condolences and any other support that he could.
The incident occurred early yesterday morning at Rock Gutter, where a bus carrying 23 passengers crashed into the sea.
Five students are dead and 14 are in hospital. (Searchlight/SAT)
