NEEDY STUDENTS as well as those who show academic promise will soon benefit from the Major Sam Headley Scholarship Fund which was launched at The Lodge School this morning.
The scholarship named in honour of Major Headley, a former Lodge School student, was initiated by business man Ralph “Bizzy” Williams, of Williams Industries, also a Lodge School alumnus.
Principal Vasco Dash said many of the finer details of the scholarship are still being determined but students from across the school body will be eligible for the scholarships. (LK)
