Woman sent to Dodds, drugs found in baby formula bottles

AT ST ANDREW WOMAN has been remanded to HMP Dodds after pleading guilty to several drug offences.

Katrina Natasha Brathwaite, 28, of Church Gap, Hillaby, was remanded for one month after appearing in the Oistins Magistrates Court today.

She was charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of 4.4 pounds of cannabis.

Brathwaite arrived at Grantley Adams International Airport on Friday from the United States and was interviewed by Police after clearing Immigration.

She was referred to Customs where a search was carried out of her luggage. Forty packages of cannabis were discovered in bottles bearing labels of baby formula. 

She is scheduled to reappear in court after the initial period at Dodds. (PR/SAT)
