Lawyer is DLP’s new man for St Peter

A FIFTY YEAR-OLD lawyer is the man slated to carry the Democratic Labour Party flag in St Peter.

Dave Cumberbatch last night signalled his willingness to run in the northern constituency and immediately got the backing of Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite, who was the guest speaker at the St Peter constituency branch meeting, at the All Saints Resource Centre.

The former cricketer and lawman, when put on the spot by members of the executive, said he had expressed his willingness and had never withdrawn it.
