THE DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY (DLP) has lost four stalwarts in recent months, but the greatest of them had to be Sir Harcourt.
In paying tribute to the late Sir Harcourt downstairs in the Parliament Buildings, where a condolence book was open for people to sign, Prime Minister Freundel Stuart yesterday paid glowing tribute to the man who was known for his contributions in the public service, banking, the credit union movement, the Methodist Church and the Scout movement, to name a few.
He said Sir Harcourt’s passing marked the end of an era in both the Public Service and the DLP. (YB)
