Teenager growing cannabis?

JEWEL WALLACE has to pay the courts $5 000 by May 8 or face nine months in prison after he was arrested and charged by members of the Drug Squad recently.

According to a release, Wallace, 18, of Lower Estate, St George was held in connection with 52 cannabis plants under cultivation after Police carried out an operation in the area on Thursday.

Wallace appeared in the Oistins Magistrates Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and cultivation of cannabis. (PR/SAT)
