Teachers will continue to meet

TEACHERS AT Alma Parris and Parkinson Memorial Secondary will be meeting at the Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) headquarters for the rest of the week.

They were at the union for the second consecutive day today, and president Pedro Shepherd said teachers will continue to meet during the morning session and report to their respective schools for the afternoon periods.

Shepherd said official correspondence about the daily meetings, and the BUT’s demands was being prepared and should have been delivered to the Ministry of Education this afternoon. (YB)
