THE BURSARIES are coming.
After much debate and a prolonged wait, the promised bursaries to assist some Barbadian students attending the University of the West Indies (UWI) will soon be a reality.
The money has finally been approved by Government.
The announcement came yesterday via a release from the Government Information Service, which said that the sum of $3 000 000 for “tuition support” was approved by Cabinet at Thursday’s meeting.
