THREE TEAMS WILL BE IN ACTION for the first time this season when the Digicel Premier League continues this evening at the National Stadium.
Direct TV Paradise, Pinelands and Weymouth Wales were all affected by last Thursday’s “blackout” at the Stadium.
Their early inactivity could work as an advantage or disadvantage. It might be an advantage as they would be fresh from injuries that might have been suffered on Thursday night. It could equally be a disadvantage as they would have lost the opportunity to gauge themselves and be mentally in competitive mode.
Nevertheless, this is the Premier League and results are expected, not excuses. Opening today’s account is a clash between Paradise and reigning kings of the league, Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP).
