FORMER BARBADOS YOUTH TEAM player and professional cricketer Hendy Wallace has credited Pedro Hinds and more especially the late Keith Boyce for his success.

Wallace made that announcement over the weekend while delivering the feature at the Keith Boyce Memorial Lecture held at the Boscobel Community Centre.

Speaking on the topic Social Mobility, Wallace, the current chairman of selectors for the national senior team, began by telling the audience that included the club’s president, sponsors and members of the Boyce family that he was delighted to be invited to speak about such a distinguished Barbadian and West Indies icon in Keith Boyce.

“My focus tonight [Saturday] lies with the aspiring, some already accomplished athletes in attendance, who may ask what does this have to do with me? Why am I to be bothered about the changes of social movement or social movement for that matter?” he said. (CH)
