Guyanese man remanded

A GUYANESE MAN has been remanded to prison after pleading guilty to trafficking cocaine.

According to police, Michael Roland Felix, who resides in Suriname, travelled to Barbados accompanied by a man.

A warrant was executed at an apartment they shared in Dover, Christ Church and 87 packages of cocaine weighing 1.2 kilogrammes were discovered and seized.  Both men were detained.

Felix will reappear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
