GOVERNMENT IS PUSHING ahead with its plan to merge the Customs and Excise Department into the Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA).

Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler said with this major revenue-earning department incorporated into the BRA, it would complete Government’s plan for a single ICT platform

He added that the administration was also moving ahead with plans to reform a number of state enterprises. (GE)
