IT IS ANOTHER callaloo versus cou cou clash with Barbados opposing arch rivals Trinidad and Tobago in a North America Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) match at the Garrison Savannah tomorrow.

The encounter will start at 4 p.m. and will follow a morning match between the local mixed clubs side and visitors from the South Shore Anchors veterans team from Boston.

The NACRA game is an important one for the local national players, who are still smarting from their away 48-22 loss to Guyana on March 7.

It has been a busy period for the Barbados Rugby Football Union after hosting the Harvard Business School Rugby Club from Boston over the past week.

Last Sunday, March 15, the Harvard men defeated an under-strength Barbados squad 20-17.

On March 28, the regular rugby league season will resume with unbeaten Emperors facing the Tridents at 2:30 p.m. and Renegades meeting Scorpions at 4 p.m.

In addition, teams from the United Kingdom are expected to arrive in Barbados in late April to coincide with the third cricket Test between the West Indies and England at Kensington Oval, as well as participate in a rugby festival on May 2. (EZS)
