Heartbreaker

A BULLET TO THE BACK, which then penetrated the heart, claimed the life of 57-year-old Selwyn Knight last Sunday morning.

Those were the findings of a post mortem performed yesterday on the body of the retired port worker, also known as “Blues”, who met an untimely death while chasing a thief who had entered his Queen Mary, Bank Hall, St Michael home minutes earlier.

Attorney at law Naomi Lynton, who along with Andrew Pilgrim, QC, are representing the Knight family, watched the post mortem proceedings at the mortuary of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital yesterday, along with Acting Superintendent of Police John Annel, who is heading the investigations into Sunday’s tragedy.
