‘Keep word’ on clinic deadline

MINISTER OF HEALTH John Boyce has been given an ultimatum.

And it is coming from one of his own – Democratic Labour Party MP Mara Thompson as she lamented the long delay to completion of the now controversial St John Polyclinic in her constituency.

“The people in St John are downright angry. I am displeased in the length of time that it’s taking for this project to be completed,” said Thompson, adding that she had a talk with the minister.estimates-2015

“But I understand some of the difficulties that have prevailed and I am pleased to hear we are looking to get back on course and get this project completed by mid-2015.” (JS)
