A BARBADIAN is carrying the trident to the international arena at an entrepreneurial competition.

Dale Trotman, 26, from St Philip, is a finalist in the Talent And Innovation Competition (TIC) of the Americas, to be held in Panama from April 7-10. He is one of 32 chosen from more than 2 700 entrants; one of seven Caribbean finalists and the only one from Barbados.

The finals were held here in Barbados,” he said.

Trotman said he started to look at the sectors in the Caribbean which needed innovation and he hit on health care, which he said was inefficient due to all the paperwork. (CA)
