FIRST IT WAS HIS HOMELAND BARBADOS, next stop was Trinidad and Tobago and now for this Easter weekend elite jockey Patrick Husbands is on his way to Jamaica.

Husbands, who has been kicking up a storm in Trinidad and Tobago where he won seven races in three days, will be in tomorrow’s and Monday’s feature races at Caymanas race track in St Catherine, Jamaica.

Overall he will be in action in nine of the 20 races over the busy Easter weekend, six tomorrow and three on Monday.

With races scheduled all across the Caribbean’s leading tracks –  the Garrison Savannah’s Grand Stand Posse Challenge Stakes in Honour of Kingley Street Handicap, Santa Rosa Park’s Easter Guineas  – Husbands will suit up for trainer Anthony Nunes, brother of Barbados-based trainer Andrew “Busha” Nunes in the feature races on both days.
