3 Premier League teams aim to advance

THREE DIGICEL PREMIER LEAGUE TEAMS will be in action today when the Banks Champions Cup takes place at the Barbados Football Association’s Wildey AstroTurf.

Weymouth Wales, University of the West Indies (UWI) and Silver Sands will be aiming to advance to the round of 16 against their lower league opponents.

Empire, who play Silver Sands,currently lie in fourth position in the Division 1 standings and are on course to make a push for promotion into the Premier League.  

Silver Sands have been having a rough time in the top division and may well find themselves in the lower division in 2016 if they do not get their act together.
