A SECURITY GUARD collapsed and died tonight in The City, shortly after playing several rounds of dominoes with friends.

Tyrone DaCosta Yarde, 68, of Beales Gap, Villa Road, St Michael left home this afternoon with only the complaint of “having air” said his wife of 27 years, Isa Yarde. She got a call after 9 p.m. telling her that Tyrone had died in Marhill Street.

A witness said Tyrone had earlier played several rounds of dominoes in the area before he left, only to collapse as he made his way through Marhill Street.

Weeping family and friends said they had no idea what went wrong.

The father of six, an employee of Weekes Security, was posted at one time at Deighton Griffith Secondary School. His latest assignment was at Digicel, Wildey.

Apart from his wife and sisters, some of his six children also gathered at the scene, crying as they viewed Tyrone’s body on the spot where he taken his last breath. He was eventually taken away after 10 p.m.  (AC)
