Time to unwind

WITH THE COMMON ENTRANCE Examination behind the 3 510 children who sat this year, it was time for play, fun and food.

While some children enjoyed a friendly game of volleyball in the pool, some played at the beach while hundreds of others enjoyed sumptuous meals at restaurants across the island yesterday afternoon.

The Coco Patch Restaurant at Accra Beach Hotel had a group of 22 Charles F Broome students enjoying the kid-centred menu.

Assistant restaurant manager Markisha Bruce said the 11-Plus lime included a meal, a movie, and free popcorn and cookies. Bruce said they originally had booking for 30 but had lots of walk-ins which placed them under some pressure. (LK)
