THE BARBADOS EMPLOYERS’ Confederation was today helping a range of business people find what it calls “resilient responses” for the challenges they face in the tough economic times.

Several experts which it recruited for an employment clinic at its headquarters discussed with people running small and other businesses how best to tackle those challenges.

The experts were drawn from fields including labour, information technology, insurance, business development, accounts and web design.

The BEC’s research/ safety and health coordinator Melony James said the clinic was a follow-up to last December’s forum which was designed to prepare future employees for the world of work. (TY)
