Fire strikes Jose Y Jose

MANAGEMENT OF JOSE Y Jose Liquid and Solid Waste Management are this morning looking into what could have caused fire to destroy the offices of their Belle, St Michael business.

The fire which started around midnight also destroyed the computers.

Junior managing director Ammon Cherry (pictured below) told NATION NEWS his father, chief executive officer Anderson Cherry, was alerted by to the blaze by neighbours.

When he arrived members of the Barbados Fire Service were already on the scene and had the blaze under control.

“What we can see so far, the computers are melted, the files are gone, everything destroyed,” said Ammon.

He also said the building was insured and investigations are continuing. (JS)
